Hello world!

My name is Debra Southworth and happily, you have found your way over to my new blog, The Vegan Nana!  Welcome!!!

We are three generations of vegans in my family!  We have a strong restaurant background, so my family knows good food!  We LOVE to cook it –  we LOVE to eat it!  The time has come for me to begin to share some of our amazing recipes with you! Let me tell you right away, “Vegans” don’t just eat “Bunny Food!”  Being Vegan is about Health & Compassion, but it’s also about Yumminess!   Whether you are 100% Vegan or just stopping in for “Meatless Monday” inspiration, I support you! Bravo!!! EVERY step we take towards living a truly Plant Based, Compassionate Lifestyle is good for You, the Animals AND the Planet!  Thank you for stopping by!

I’m also a Divinely Guided Energy Healer who specializes in Distance Healings. That’s right, you can be in the comfort of your own bedroom and I will channel this beautiful light to meet you where you are. Whoa. What? Read on…

I’ve been an Energy Healer since 1990, inspired by Barbara Brennan who wrote the timeless book, “Hands of Light.” Later, I trained and became Certified as a Reiki Master.  I  believe that (for me) the energy I channel is Divinely Guided!  Energy Healing has been around since ancient times. It’s WHO I am – who I identify with on an intrinsic level,  and I’m finally “out of the closet” sharing my Gifts with the World!  My plan is simple, I’m out to save our Beautiful Earth and all of its inhabitants (including the Animal Kingdom!) with Compassion, Kindness, Good Health, Divine Energy and Essential Oils!!!  …… which also brings me to “Essential Oils.”

100% Pure, Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils are also a passion of mine!  I’m a Young Living Distributor #2689556. These wonderful Essential Oils walk beautifully alongside my Compassionate, Vegan Lifestyle which just happens to include Energy Healing. Find out more at http://www.TheVeganNana.MarketingScents.com.     Feel free to leave me your contact info there.  Good stuff!!!

Am I perfect?  Definitely not.  Do I do my best?  Absolutely…. I like to think of myself as “perfectly imperfect.”  Thank you for joining me here on my journey!  It’s so nice to connect with you!  I feel that I need to share that “I am not a professional writer” but know I WILL be sharing “from the Heart.”  I may not be perfect, but I’m authentic!

Bear with me while I find my way around this “word press” thing!!!  I’m learning as I go!!!

Again, WELCOME!!!!  🙂
